Main Performance Indicators
Diameter and Length of the Roller: The diameter and length are the basic size parameters of the roller. The size of the diameter affects the bearing capacity and service life of the roller; generally, the larger the diameter, the stronger the bearing capacity. The length is determined based on the width of the conveyor belt, ensuring that the roller can completely cover the width of the conveyor belt to prevent the edges of the conveyor belt from sagging.
Rotational Resistance Coefficient: This is an important indicator for measuring the performance of the roller, reflecting the resistance when the roller rotates. The smaller the rotational resistance coefficient, the more flexible the roller rotates, and the lower the resistance during the operation of the conveyor belt, which can reduce the energy consumption of the conveyor. A good rotational resistance coefficient for rollers is generally between 0.02 - 0.03.
Service Life: The service life of the roller mainly depends on the quality of the bearing, sealing performance, and the wear resistance of the roller. Under normal usage conditions, high-quality rollers can have a service life of tens of thousands of hours, while low-quality rollers may experience bearing damage and roller wear in a short period.
