Definition and Purpose

The railway accessory resetting machine is a device specifically used for resetting railway tracks and related accessories. During railway operations, tracks and their accessories (such as rails, fishplates, switches, etc.) may shift or deform due to long-term train operations, natural disasters (such as earthquakes, floods, etc.), or accidents (such as train derailments). The main function of the resetting machine is to restore these displaced or deformed railway accessories to their normal position and state, ensuring the safe operation of the railway.

Structural Composition

Body Frame: Usually welded from high-strength steel, providing a stable support structure for the entire resetting machine. It needs to have sufficient strength and rigidity to withstand the enormous forces generated during the resetting process and ensure that the equipment does not deform or tip over during operation.

Power System: Includes motors, hydraulic pumps, or pneumatic devices. The motor provides the power source, driving the hydraulic pump or pneumatic device to generate sufficient pressure. The hydraulic system generally consists of a hydraulic pump, hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic valve, and hydraulic piping, transmitting power through liquid pressure, capable of generating significant thrust or pull; the pneumatic system uses compressed air as the power medium, operating relatively quickly but with potentially less force.

Resetting Actuator: This is the part that directly acts on the railway accessories, mainly including clamps, push-pull rods, and adjustment devices. The clamps are used to securely hold the rails or other accessories, designed according to the shape and size of different railway accessories, usually featuring anti-slip and anti-drop functions. The push-pull rods transmit the force generated by the power system to the accessories, pushing or pulling them for resetting. The adjustment device can precisely control the direction and position of the reset, such as angle adjustment and horizontal and vertical displacement control.

Control System: Composed of a control panel, sensors, and controllers. The control panel is used for operators to input resetting parameters and operation instructions, such as resetting speed, force magnitude, displacement distance, etc. Sensors are used to monitor various parameters in real-time during the resetting process, such as pressure, displacement, angle, etc., feeding this data back to the controller. The controller automatically adjusts the working state of the power system and resetting actuator based on the sensor feedback data and preset programs, ensuring the precision and safety of the resetting process.

Working Principle

When resetting railway accessories is required, the resetting machine is first moved to the appropriate position of the accessory and securely clamped using the clamps. The operator inputs the resetting parameters in the control system and starts the power system. The pressure generated by the power system is transmitted to the accessory through the push-pull rod, pushing or pulling the accessory according to the preset direction and displacement amount. During the resetting process, sensors monitor the position and force conditions of the accessory in real-time and feed the data back to the controller. The controller continuously adjusts the output of the power system based on the feedback data until the accessory is reset to its normal position, meeting the preset resetting standards, at which point the power system stops working.
